TV Guide, AngelX, Wanda, SIT's

TV Guide

TV Guide has posted their summary for 'Never Leave Me'.

Never Leave Me 60 min. Spike is held captive in the Summers home while the Scoobies ponder their options in the aftermath of his murder spree; a squeamish Andrew (Tom Lenk) tries to master killing; Buffy contacts the Watchers' Council for advice. Quentin: Harris Yulin. Butcher: Donald Bishop. Phillip: Oliver Muirhead.
Why Am I Having 'Pangs' Flashbacks

AngelX posted the following in response to the TV Guide description at the Cross and Stake. It should further allay some of the fears of what is actually having with Spike.

Remember those pesky Oracle spoilers?

A. Spike is being controlled by the FE.
B. Spike *asks* for Buffy's help.
C. Keeping Spike tied up at her house is part of Buffy helping. It's not a "Hunt Spike down and chain him up until we decide to kill him" sort of thing. She wants to keep him from beeing coerced into further harm.
D. He doesn't stay tied up for long.

Happy thoughts. Remember? Happy thoughts. :) It all works out.

As usual, AngelX's info fits with what I've been hearing (and why I've always been pointing out that Spike is not in any danger from the Scoob's). But I do know that sometime between Episode 9 and Episode 10 they seem to lose Spike. For how long, I still don't have an answer to that question.

Wanda

Wanda's chat archive is up at E!Online. It appears that Buffy starts warming a bit to Spike in this episode. My own personal speculation is that it might not be something that Spike will actually be aware of. With the three Slayers-In-Training staying at the Summer's home, I wouldn't be surprised if Buffy's actions are more to keep them from staking him on sight, in much the same way Buffy had to defend Angel to Kendra and Faith.

Hey Jealousy

Speaking of SIT's. Although it's more speculation on the part of my source, they have seen indications that one of the SIT's might resent Buffy a bit. If it does happen, it would be the older one who is a potential love-interest for Willow. The source thinks that the reason for the lack of love towards Buffy, could be that the SIT feels that because Buffy didn't kill Faith, she lost her shot at becoming 'The Chosen One'. They know that there is a bit of friction between the two, but are speculating on the reason why.
