SpoilerZone, Spoilers Episodes 2 - 4

SpoilerZone Updated

Wendy has updated the SpoilerZone, with information about Episode Two and a Location Shoot report that I hadn't seen before. The Location Shoot info is very minor, but the other information definitely confirms rumors that I've been hearing. You'll also see in my post below, that this could also confirm some other spoilage.

The Return of the Big Bads seems to involve some being that shapeshifts and takes the form of various Big Bads of the past. But it's not as simple as that. It happens in the presence of Spike, and as you may know, he's not all that sane in episode 1.

Can I retract/reformulate a spoiler from SZ? When I said that in episode 2 "Dawn threatens to stake Spike" I meant that "Dawn threatens to kill Spike."

Buffy has a brief flashback to the attempted rape during a conversation with Spike.

Spike tells Buffy that he went to Africa to get a soul.

Spike burns himself on a cross out of guilt and remorse.

I've also heard that Halfrek appears in at least two episodes this season, including the premiere. However, I do not believe she is in episode 2.

Crucifixion Steaks - Hot Off The Grill

Before I spill the goods, I really have to qualify what I'm about to post. I've recently been passed some information about Episodes 2 - 4 from a new source. Normally, when I get spoilers about episodes from an untested source, I end up sitting on them waiting for some kind of confirmation. But I'm caught between a rock and a hard place.

Now this is where it gets tricky.

The information for Episode Two, I've heard rumors of from more than one of my reliable sources. In fact, I've just been waiting for any other spoiler site to post the information so I can slap a seal of approval on it. (Which Wendy has just done by posting it at the SpoilerZone - and also provided some information for Episode Four.) So while I feel pretty darned confident about the info I'm about to post for Episode Two, the info for Episodes Three and Four is a bit murkier.

The question is do I trust that info as much as the info for Episode Two? To be honest, I'm riding the fence. My gut is telling me this is reliable info, but I'd rather not be the first person to post it. After much debate, I've decided that I'm going to go ahead and release what I've heard (even after getting burned by that entire Spike/Sunlight thing at the end of last season).

Episode Two

Only a little tidbit of information for this episode. In the final scene of Episode Two (which I'm assuming is taking place in a church), Spike (who's is still losing it) will hug a cross and will be burned.

This info I feel confident about, if only because I've heard rumors of this from five different sources (and Wendy just posted about it at her site)

Episode Three

In this episode, Willow returns to Sunnydale. For one reason or another, Willow is 'out of sync' with the world. Therefore, while she's invisible to most people, Anya and Spike can see her. My speculation is that it's not the invisibility gun, but she might teleport back to Sunnydale and not be entirely successful (or at least that's what my Scotty-senses point to). Note: And my speculation is dead wrong, as I've gotten some clarification. Willow does fly back to Sunnydale, but for some reason she is out of sync and none of the human Scoobies can see her. I know, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me either.

There is a disturbing similarity between some recent murders and Warren's demise (the victims have been skinned). The culprit is Gnarl, but that might not be enough to keep some from jumping to conclusions. In the meantime, Anya and Willow work together to try and resolve her issue, but it seems that Anya is having problems with her boss as well. Spike is still injured from the scene in Episode Two, and the end of the episode is a reconciliation between Buffy and Willow.

Episode Four

Help - Written by Rebecca Rand Kirshner

Another 'Back To School' episode, which sounds like a mix of 'Earshot' and 'Reptile Boy'. As Buffy settles into her new job, one of the students tells Buffy that she is going to die in less than a week (the student, not Buffy). The student may or may not be psychic (ie: she could be suicidal). Supposedly there is also a mini-cult made up of some of the students. This episode is also supposed to feature a scene where Xander brings Willow to Tara's grave.

For now, the information that matches Wendy I'm going to rank as 'Likely'. The spoilers which I haven't been able to get further confirmation on, I'm going to list as 'Possible'.
