Angel Episode 11 - Damage
Highlights culled from summary by Pandora - Courtesy Of The Mythical Boards

- A young woman escapes from a mental asylum.

- Angel and Spike go to investigate, tipped off by a nurse.

- The woman, Dana, has been acting like she's possessed.

- Spike goes out to track her down, following the trail of bodies she is leaving.

- Angel discovers that Dana is really a Slayer, and has been dreaming about them.

- Spike finds out after she throws him through a window.

- Angel and Spike return to the office, to discover that Andrew has been sent by Giles.

- Andrew is there to locate the Slayers that were activated.

- Spike goes out again to find Dana, and bumps into Andrew again.

- Angel goes with a psychic to Dana's childhood home.

- Dana was abducted by a man who killed her family, and tortured her as a child.

- Spike locates Dana where the man used to torture her.

- Dana, mistakes Spike for that man, drugs him and cuts off his arms.

- Angel and the others arrive, neutralize Dana and save Spike.

- Spike will recover, but realizes that his past will always haunt him.

- Andrew takes Dana back to England, although Angel doesn't want her to go, Andrew brought some Slayers as backup.
All in all, pretty much matches what we expected from the scripts. Little more dramatic in a few places, and they do play on the 'Spike as the torturer' arc a bit. But in the end, it was all misdirection and Spike seems to be on the mend by episodes end. Also interesting that there is no indication that this will segue into Cordy awakening, but it could be like the end of 'Destiny' and be shot at a later date.
