ATS: 'Why We Fight' Summary

Pandora has posted her summary of 'Why We Fight' (Episode 13) at the Mythical-Boards. Much of this was covered in great detail by an earlier summary of here, so please visit Mythical-Boards for full details, but I will summarize the additional info below.
Angel 5.13: Why We Fight

Additional info not in the original Spoiler Slayer Summary.

- Present-day Lawson doesn't look any older than Past-Lawson.

- He gets the drop on Fred, Gunn, and Wesley. Tying them up and hanging them from piano wire (one false move and they will die).

- In the past, after the depth charge attack, Heinreich escapes and attacks Lawson.

- Lawson is the only one who can pilot the sub, so Angel is forced to vamp him to save everyone.

- Lawson gets them back to safety, but Angel puts him off the sub before it makes land.

- Lawson has returned, to get revenge on Angel for making him a vampire.

- After a brief fight, Lawson is staked by Angel. Spike thinks that this is what he wanted all along.
Interesting bit of a twist, though I have to say that I'm a mite confused about the entire revenge storyline. Apparently, Lawson has not enjoyed being a vampire, calling it a 'life of pain'. Which doesn't seem to make much sense, unless it's Angel's soul that caused this. Which is what I think they are going for, a vampire made by a souled vampire, will endure the same pain and remorse as the sire. Though, that doesn't explain all the vampires that Spike made last season on 'Buffy'. It didn't appear that they were angry at Spike for doing this.

in any event, I'm sure it will make much more sense once it hits the airwaves.
