Still Recovering

I'm trying to put most of my efforts into recovering from this cold, so the review of 'Never Leave Me' is still only partially done. It should appear sometime this weekend, but I don't want to make any promises just yet.

ECH at FanForum has posted another summary for 'Bring On The Night'

ON THE BRINK OF THE APOCALYPSE, GILES AND THREE SLAYERS-IN-TRAINING ARRIVE IN SUNNYDALE, AS BUFFY CLASHES WITH THE UBERVAMP.

"Bring On the Night" – Buffy and the Scoobie gang struggle mightily to find a way to destroy the Ubervamp and are relieved when they are joined in the battle by the sudden arrival of Giles and three young would-be slayers.

Meanwhile, Spike barely endures the tortuous interrogation by The First until Buffy arrives to confront him and save Spike.

Again, it's time for me to be a bit surprised, as most of my sources pointed to Spike being MIA at least through 'Showtime'. Then again, since I'm culling info from vague references, it's possible that he could be back at Casa Summers but not in any shape to assist in the battle (which is why he might not have been seen at the recent Location Shoot for that episode).

But he is back to form in Episode 12, so that's another indication that he could be recovering from his ordeal. Which means that Drusilla's return might not either be the Real-Dru or Morphy-Dru, but beaten-to-within-an-inch-of-his-life Hallucination-Dru.

Then again, maybe Morphy-Giles will turn into Morphy-Dru.

It's going to be a long wait until January.
