AM Update Angel X released

AM Update

Angel X released some major spoilage at the Cross and Stake, which is going to cause more ranking changes later today on the Spoiler Slayer page.

Dead Things (6.13)

  • Warren uses another gadget to make his ex-girlfriend Katrina a willing slave to him and his pals, but when the effects wear off and Katrina tries to escape the grasp of the nerdy supervillains, she's accidentally killed. (This is the death of the episode and this is probably the real source of the "rape" rumors. There is no actual rape scene, but indications and accusations of non-consensual behavior.)

  • There is a cute post-sex scene between Buffy and Spike where they chat about decorating and their relationship.

  • With the use of magic and demonic forces, Warren and friends set up Buffy to make her think *she* killed Katrina--and it works.

  • Spike tries to help Buffy after the incident and keep her from confessing to the crime, but his efforts, including voluntarily taking a vicious verbal/physical thrashing from the Slayer, are useless.

  • Dawn and Xander waltz together in preparation for Xander's wedding--to Anya.

  • Buffy discovers the truth behind her returning back to life "wrong." It's the worst thing she could want it to be.

  • After learning about the spell that brought her back, Buffy confesses to Tara the truth about her and Spike and amidst all her confusion and shame, breaks down into tears.
Older And Far Away (6.14)
  • Buffy's birthday ep. A party gathers at the Summers house with the usual suspects and a few old and new faces as well. Surprisingly, the party itself goes of without much complication, but the next morning is another story.

  • Denied necessary attention from her sister and others, Dawn's wish to keep people from going away is answered by a demonic friend who binds the attendees of Buffy's birthday bash to the house. Of course, with a dangerous monster also confined with them.

  • Dawn's stealing habits are discovered.

  • Jealousy runs wild as Xander and Anya set Buffy up with a guy at her party and Spike shows up uninvited.

  • Anya freaks about being locked in the house, but Xander is there to calm and reassure her that everything is okay.
As You Were (6.15)
  • Riley returns for an episode. Not dead but of the living...and married. Buffy's own "relationship" with Spike comes into question when her ex's perfect romance shows her just what she doesn't have.
She also posted a detailed description of the Bronze Sex Scene (not posted here) and answered some questions on the Cross and Stake Spoiler Board (combined here from multiple posts)

Do you know who finally figures out the truth about Buffy and the death of Katrina? Tara is the only one to know about Buffy's true "wrongness" but Spike and the whole Scooby gang (possibly sans Tara because I don't think she was told about it) find out about the death and do research.

(These two are on the Sex Scene)

You mention that the scene does not flow with the the episodes either in front or behind. But would it flow with the rest of the episode itself?
The concept of the Bronze scene fits in with overall story they're trying to pull off and the ending of the episode. But, still... without the scene, there's enough evidence in the whole episode to pull off the ending explaination without any trouble. As far as flowing... it kinda starts a downward spiral for B/S. The first scene is sweet and cute and fun and then out of no where, Buffy's up for bondage and although she could, she doesn't stop Spike at the Bronze. Later, he shows up in her room, univited, for "comfort" sex that he initiates, but Buffy participates in. It's like wham... Buffy does whatever Spike wants, not what she does.

Is there any way that scene could be played like Crush cause in that case the Script is very 1d yet the episode itself brings in a lot more ambiguity.
Anything's possible and I don't know how the ep will turn out in the end when it airs. It could be wonderful, but the nature of the material still stands. The way they portray the characters is a big change from scene to scene and episode to episode. I don't really know what'll happen with it.

I'm going to speculate more about this recent batch of spoilers in the PM Update. I wanted to get this out and I haven't had time to try and fit everything into the 'Big Picture'.
