The JamesMarsters.com board has supposedly

The JamesMarsters.com board has supposedly the opening and ending to 'Smashed' (along with other bits of the plot). It's kind of long, so I'm not going to repeat it all here. You'll probably want to go read it and come back.

While I think that certain elements of this summary ring true, other parts I have problems with. Do they really have enough footage of Buffy training with Giles to do a flashback sequence (partially kidding there)? As others have mentioned, it fails to bring into the mix the entire possession rumor (which could be false), definitely skips over Spike's chip misfiring as well as the bits with the Troika. In fact, the it mentions that Buffy defeats the bad guy (but no reference to who or what that is). I also don't see Spike trying to use Amy to make Buffy jealous (or it even working). Now I'm not denying that there will be Buffy/Spike necking in this episode and sex certainly isn't out of the question from the multiple sources that it's coming from. I do think that the end sequence seems to be just a bit over the top. But on that note, it's more the parts in the middle that I have the issue with. I think the bookend sequences could very well be actual bits from the script (though perhaps a little embellished).
