Ahhh, Much Better...

While the musical summary doesn't delve into specifics, it does allow me to finalize the confirmations for the episode. But I do need to delve into some of the specifics behind the rankings and some changes that I made. I modified the spoilers for who actually casts/summons Sweet. Technically, I guess it's not really a truth spell, and the reasoning behind the spell has changed from what we originally heard. Then again, these spoilers came out even before the premiere aired. Ballpark is good enough for me, so that's why I made it a bit more specific as to who did what. I just wanted to reword them so they would be clearer.

Then there is the issue of all the spoilers about the Buffy/Spike relationship. We have a beginning, but that could mean anything at this point. They've discovered their feelings, they've kissed, they've entered the first stages of a relationship. But are they a couple? I think that is still going to be up in the air for a few episodes. We've got rumors going both ways for later episodes, and I've changed the rankings on certain spoilers accordingly. But I'm not going to go to solid confirmations on anything just yet. Even if it progresses over the next few episodes, there could still be a turnaround on the part of either character. However, I'm relatively positive that their relationship is going to be a season-long story arc.

Finally, I had to move the Mr. Video spoiler from the Musical to 'Tabula Rasa'. I was originally going to give it a 'confirmed false', but we have no idea how 'Tabula Rasa' is going to open. As we close on Buffy/Spike kissing, who knows how far it will go. We could find in the opening, that something did happen. I, like most everyone else, assumed that when it was said that 'Buffy and Spike deal with their sleeping together', that it would actually occur in the Musical. Another issue is the UK rumors of the more Buffy/Spike smooching. After the musical, it seems pretty likely that it will continue. But was it a lucky guess or something based on fact. Since these were originally tied to the 'Riley Returns' rumor, I thinking it was luck. Especially in light of the past accuracy of their spoilage.
