Spoiler Slayer

I had to do a bit of tweaking to the Spoiler Slayer. Herc wrote to clarify what he said originally in the Spoilers for 'Teeth'. More often than not, I'm summarizing the spoilage that is out there and sometimes things get lost in the translation. To make it clear that Herc isn't changing what he's been saying, this is the actual quote...

Any new bad guys this episode? Yes, and - holy mackerel! - the creators are getting very creative with their demons. A fellow named “Teeth” is connected to a part of Spike’s life we will find out about toward the end of 6.5 (“Life Serial").

I first translated this as 'Teeth' would be appearing at the end of 6.5, and Herc wrote to tell me that wasn't what he meant.

FYI: Teeth IS connected with a part of Spike's life we learn about near the end of 6.5, but I never said Teeth was in 6.5.

Which I interpreted as we would learn more about Spike's past, which again isn't what he was getting at. Spike's little poker game (and his subsequent hanging around with demons again) is what Herc was referring to, and so I've changed the spoiler accordingly. My bad, I just didn't want anyone to think I was being a revisionist or biased.

Wanda leaked only a few bits of info on the Halloween episode. Some of which contradict what we've already heard, and contradict the physics of Sunnydale as well.

From wendygurlie: How does the date end? Does Justin return? Does Dawn like him? She actually really digs him--he's very sweet to her and extremely protective. Once she realizes her boy's a little sharp-toothed (when he goes in for a smooch and turns vampy), Dawn manages to run away, but she's still a little conflicted about her feelings for him. Justin comes back for her while she's sleeping, wanting to turn her. Then, as he leans down and goes in for her neck, she dusts him with a stake.

Here is what the spoilage that we have has to say...

Dawn is backing away into the woods when Justin pops up behind her. "Trick or Treat." He tackles her and Dawn looks more hurt than scared. Dawn: "I thought you liked me." Justin: (sincere) "I do. And you like me too." Dawn: (sincerely) I do. Justin smiles, then stiffens. Dawn has found Spike’s crossbow and dusted her first kiss. She lays there, frozen, tears welling up in her eyes.

So who do I believe? Right now it isn't Wanda. Why? Well if Dawn's asleep, who invites him into the house?

I'll add that spoilage to the Spoiler Slayer tomorrow. There's also a Marti Noxon interview that I want to discuss, not much in the way of actual spoilage, but gives you an idea of what the writers think about spoilers.
