In the process of inserting

In the process of inserting the new spoilers, I went over some earlier comments that I had made (on older stuff that I hadn't really speculated about here). I cleaned that up, and in the process changed a bunch of rankings. I wanted to take a second to address those, because some of the changes might seem confusing.

The entire Anya/Anyanka spoiler thread is really hard to judge. Especially since it's been now floating around for three seasons. In reality, I do think that Anyanka will make some kind of return. But I don't see it as a rampage or anything along those lines. More than likely, it will be for some strange reason and will result in more comedy than chaos (although chaos on Buffy is often the funniest parts). So I'm bringing that back up to possible.

It looks for certain that Warren will be returning for several episodes, so I moved that to likely. Dawn doesn't show any signs of powers, so I'm downgrading that to unlikely. Buffy won't return as a vampire, based on Shooting Location Reports, so I feel that I can safely confirm that as false. I also downgraded the rumor that the Buffy-bot will be used to fool Hank. Obviously, they are using her to fool the various demons, vampires, etc in town as well as people who know Dawn. I think Hank is still going to be unaware of anything that has happened in Sunnydale. To be honest, it's something that really is bugging me now. Obviously, the actor has no problem being on the show, appearing in "Weight of the World". For some reason, the writers want to keep him out of touch, and I don't see a change in that. It makes me think that they have plans of some kind, and it doesn't make sense to bring him back just yet.

Since Angel is supposed to be living in a monastery at the beginning of his show, I think we can nearly confirm the rumor that Willow gets info from Angel as false. I gave a more specific ranking to the rumors that Buffy is happier in the afterlife. I'm beginning to get the feel that she won't actual remember anything about being dead. I think the last thing that she's going to remember is falling from the tower, the next thing she knows is that she woke up in a coffin. I think the confusion is going to be what brings her back to the tower, or even a concern that Glory is still alive. I also beginning to think that Giles may have left even before the episode begins, although this is all based on my own speculation. It all depends on the 'teaser' sequence. If they do a flashback montage, then it would be a good device to maybe have Dawn discussing it ala 'Real Me' in her journal, with flashbacks to the aftermath of the battle. With Buffy gone, and the weight of what he did to Ben hanging over him, I could see him leaving much earlier. Which could explain why he does it by letter. Again, speculation on my part, nothing that is based on any known facts.

I also upgraded the rumor that Dawn's new boyfriend turns out to be a vampire to Likely. This is based in part on the information that I mentioned yesterday. I also realize that there are other spoilers floating around that I haven't mentioned. What I'm trying to do is work with the most important spoilers in regards to plot. While I've heard that Dawn's boyfriend steals a car, I haven't mentioned it there, because it's not that crucial. Same goes with the rumors of 'demons playing poker with kittens', it's a minor spoiler. The reason I'm doing this is twofold. First, I want to address the main spoilers, but not take some of the fun out of the episodes. I know several fans who just like to get the main outline of the wildfeed, but don't want all the juicy details of what happened, where, and how. For example, for 'Life Serial' there is a whole outline of what happens on 'Take Buffy To Work Day', which I've summarized as 'Buffy experiments with various jobs'.

Second, I'm collating rumors from several other sites and messageboards. I don't want to take traffic away from them, nor replace them. If I did that, then were would I get any spoilers to talk about. If you are looking for discussion on these topics, or want more details, I point you in the right direction. Several of them have much better sources than I do, and I highly recommend visiting all of them if you are into spoilers.
