Tuesday Update Just a little

Tuesday Update

Just a little bit of spoilage posted on the Cross and Stake Spoiler Board.

Buffy will whack off her hair in a fit of rage. Think G.I. Jane. I've heard Ms. Gellar actually took shears to her real hair for the camera. Very liberating.

Buffy will be turned invisible by the nerdy triad and she'll have a little fun toying with her friends and more importantly with Spike, who isn't above toying back, even when he can't see her.

I've been told that a future episode will carry a public service announcement at the beginning that urges against younger viewers watching. While details are slim, I do know that there is a death, a lot of sex, and something so shocking that even I had to hear it three times before I believed it.

Dean Butler is allegedly signed on for one episode. That would be Hank Summers.

The Buffy/Spike shagfest will continue onto alleyways, the Bronze, the magic shop, and the cemetery. All in the course of three episodes. One has to wonder if the Slayer will have any energy left to fight off the bads.

Buffy receives a wound that should leave her dead as a doornail, but instead it closes up ala the Mayor. Could be our little Slay-gal is "impervious to harm", which makes me wonder why she was all bruised up after her sexy dalliance with Spike.

Again, it seems to be a mix of known and unknown spoilers. There is enough 'incorrect' information to make me kind of doubtful. I've seen Sarah's new hair (and if you make the same rounds that I do, you probably have as well). There is nothing G.I. Jane about it. Unless she shaves her head and then it grows back in a day or so. I also know that you wouldn't call a parental discretion warning a Public Service Announcement. In addition, they usually air (at least in my area) the bit about Buffy being for 'Teen and Adult audiences' anyway. The 'sex in the Magic Box' bit is new, but all the other locations were pretty much known. The Dean Butler rumor reminds me too much of the, 'He comes back to get custody of Dawn', spoiler from last season. He did appear in an episode last season, but it was merely a cameo. Joss made a comment a while back about having Hank out of the picture on purpose. If he came back, it would distract from Buffy's growth as a character. Why get rid of Giles only to have her father come back? It just doesn't fit the current story arc. I also see a fair bit of speculation on the boards, that the person who dies in 'Dead Things' is her father. Which would be a real messy situation, if only for the fact that everything points to Buffy thinking that she did it. Last, the bit about Buffy being 'impervious to harm', has also been floating around and is nothing that new.

Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday - Tensai
