(I will stop adding to

(I will stop adding to this post, I promise).

'Smashed' information is up at Buffy.com. The new bit on the Troika, they're trying to find a mystical diamond that will help them defeat Buffy. Another thing to note, the picture on the site would seem to be Spike talking to Warren (at least it looks like the back of Warren's head).

Lots of email today, some wondering why I had downgraded the Spike Chip rumor to unlikely. All the spoilers we've gotten for this episode (that are reliable), point to the chip not malfunctioning at all. If Buffy is possessed by a demon, then Spike would be able to attack her. We've got a scene where there is a delayed reaction to the chip, then Spike tries to attack a girl and it goes off, then he attacks Buffy again and it doesn't. Also note that most of the actual press releases are being very vague.

Spike learns that there is something wrong with his chip that seems to allow him to attack people.

Based on that information, I feel it was safe to downgrade that spoiler. It could be wrong, but I'm going where the spoilers are taking me. We know that it both works and doesn't work, that would seem to me that something is up with Buffy, rather than with Spike's chip. You'll note that even though we haven't heard any real signs of Buffy being possessed, I did move that one back up (because Herc has yet to be wrong and the promos would indicate that Buffy is not herself).

Also a couple of questions about the Spike/Buffy relationship and why I haven't included it in the spoilers for 'Smashed'. Well, partially because it kind of falls under Herc's rumor about them going way beyond 'tongue-wrestling', and I've stashed it in the Sweeps section instead of that episode. Why? well Herc never gave us an exact episode that it would happen. As for the other bits from the 'Smashed' summary, the either are things that I've already covered, or aren't major enough spoilers to list. I don't list every one, just the ones that seem to be getting the most action. I'll go ahead and bring up here, then wait a bit to see how they shake out. When possible, I would prefer to stick them under a particular episode, rather than putting them into the generic categories.
