ATS: Pandora's 'Origin' Summary

Pandora has posted the summary for 'Origin' at the Mythical Boards (Registration Required). Remember to go to the Boards for a complete summary, the highlights are below.
Angel: Origin (5.18) Highlights

- As spoiled earlier, this is the episode where Connor returns.

- It appears that Illyria is welcome at Wolfram and Hart.

- Connor's parents meet with Wesley, because of some strange things that have happened.

- Connor was hit by a car and lived, which shocked everyone.

- Wesley wants to investigate, but Angel warns him off.

- While Wesley tries to figure out what is wrong, Angel meets with Hamilton.

- Hamilton denies any part in the attack on Connor.

- Connor and his parents are attacked by demons, Angel appears and saves them. (note: this is the bit from the location report).

- Connor accepts that he has superpowers, and Angel reveals what Angel Investigations is about.

- Connor thinks this is pretty cool, although neither he nor the others know the truth.

- Wesley and Lorne figure out that Cyrus Vail is behind the attacks.

- The next bit is as from the earlier spoilers, where Angel confronts Vail and is blackmailed into helping him.

- Either Angel gets Connor to kill Sahjahn, or Vail uses the Orlon Window to return everyone's memories.

- Also from the earlier spoilers, this is where Wesley figures out what really happened.

- Connor readily agrees to kill Sahjahn, in order to protect his family.

- Angel takes him to Vail's, and Connor is magically locked in a room with Sahjahn.

- Connor is not strong enough to kill Sahjahn, and Angel is not allowed to interfere.

- Wesley and Illyria arrive, and disable Vail.

- Wesley confronts Angel about what he did. He believes that Angel traded Connor's life for Fred's.

- Angel tries to explain, but Wesley doesn't trust him anymore, he smashes the Orlon Window.

- As everyone's memories return, Connor quickly finishes off Sahjahn.

- Angel expects Connor to remember, but strangely he does not.

- Everyone else realizes what has transpired in the past.

- In the final scene, Connor returns to his family, but reveals to Angel that he does remember.

- There is also a scene where Hamilton offers to free Gunn, but Gunn refuses.
Essentially, this pretty much ties in with all of the spoilers that we had heard. Connor will only be in this one episode (so far, never know what will happen in the final two). Gunn remains trapped in limbo (my guess is that Illyria frees him early on in Episode 19). And although strange, Illyria is finding her place in the mix. I have to admit that the relationship between Wesley and Illyria is something I find fascinating. Strange how she went from wanting to kill all of humanity, to trying to understand what it means to be human.

Thanks to Pandora for another excellent summary.
